9/11 Commissioners Grade Bush

Former 9/11 commissioners Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton have been making the rounds to inform us that the Bush administration has done a poor job enacting the commission's recommendations and we still are far from safe.
They say the government deserves "more F's than A's" in responding to their 41 suggested changes.

"People are not paying attention," chairman Thomas Kean, a former Republican governor of New Jersey, said Sunday. "God help us if we have another attack."

Often I hear that another attack would help Bush's numbers. I don't buy that. I think Americans would be pissed. Of course Bush would find someone to scapegoat and that'd keep his winger base with him but with each new failure more Americans fall away from Bush.
